Depending on the institute or university they entered and the organisation they are put in, the average compensation of students will be INR 1.8 lakhs per year. The initial income of freshers qualifying from the Bachelor of Library Science curriculum starts at roughly INR 15,000 per month. Yet, the compensation package for BLibSc graduates grows over time as they gain experience. The average salary of the starter varies from INR 1-2 lakh, and increases to INR 3-5 lakhs after two years. After five years, the salary reaches INR 5-7 lakh.
