I enjoyed the hostel life at LPU, so I can tell about it very well. Hostel life teaches many good things like teamwork, helpful mindset, sense of unity and sacrifice etc. Hostel life has many advantages. It gives students a sense of responsibility, independence and self-care. LPU hostels have - Girls and boys are offered separate accommodation in different hostels. Students are allocated hostels according to the availability of seats. All hostels have basic services that allow students to stay comfortably away from home. All the hostels also have their dining rooms which provide high quality and hygienic food and every day the food was very tasty and different. Laundry - The campus has its own laundry which takes care of laundry services for all students. Hospital - The University also has an on-campus hospital that serves all medical facilities for students, staff and faculty.

Jadavpur University has one of the biggest campuses in whole Kolkata. You will love the freedom that you get in the very aura of the place. You can enjoy everything, from strolling around the campus to watch a movie with your friends. You can be a part of various clubs like the Debating Society, Painting Club, Dance Club, etc. To welcome and help you develop your passion. You will have enough time to devote to both studies and extra-curricular activities. The Central Library is a 5-storey filled with all the books and journals you might want to read. Along with its separate reading rooms, it's surely a great place for a day of non-stop exam preparation. Other exciting things to do at JU are watching the football matches, and enjoying great food at more than 7 canteens, distributed all over the campus.
