It would be better if you appear for entrance exam to get admission in reputed law college. But you can also do LL.B. From colleges which do not require entrance score and give admission on basis of mimimum required marks. In your case, you can plan to specialize in taxation law. For that you can start practicing taxation law ( associating with a law firm or CA along with LL.B. And gain good experience in taxation law.

Law is a lucrative career option both for government and private sector job.
5 year LL.B. Is more beneficial. Career option after LL.B. -
- Higher studies ( LL. M, MBA etc. )
- Judiciary
- court practise
- other government jobs
- private sector job ( law firms, NGO, corporate)
Few suitable government exams after LL.B. -
- PCS J
- UPSC Law)
- Banks
- Railway
- PSU

- government law colleges like GLC
- Ambedkar Law College
- Rijvi law college affiliated
- NMIMS law college
- NLU Mumbai
- government. Law colleges affiliated to Mumbai University
- TISS Mumbai
Part time / distance law colleges in Minbai- GLC
- Symbosis
- BSE
- St. Xavier College
Few popular exams for admission in these colleges are MH-CET, TISSNET ISAT. Registration for MH-CET generally start in February but is late and tentative time is May / July. For exam like TISSNET ISAT you can check their websites.

For practise in court one need regular LL.B. Recognised by BCI. Few option to pursue law in distance mode could be -
- Anamali University
- NLU MBL
- University of Kashmir
- Guru Nanak Dev University
-Madurai Kamraj University
These are top universities to pursue LL.B. ( academic).

The GGSIPU does not conduct any CET for Integrated 5 years LL.B. Courses. The eligibility and admission criteria are given below. Eligibility Criteria: Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. Admissions Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in Common Law Admission Test Under Graduate,  CLAT UG,  that is conducted by National Law University on a rotational basis. For detailed eligibility rules, you can visit the BCI website. For B.An LL.B you need to be 12th passed as per eligibility rule of BCI ( for regular LL.B) and respective universities ( For regular and distance LL.B). In the case of NLU, age bar and CLAT score also required. But for 3 years LL.B, there is no such upper age limit on the entrance exam and for course in most of the cases. You can also study MBL from NLU, LL.B ( Academic ) from Annamalai University but these law courses are not applicable for practice. The 10+2 of your must be recognized as equivalent to 10+2 by the university to which you wish to get admission. Few college
