For pursuing LL.M (Master of Law) a 2 year programme for specialisation in fields like constitutional law, international law, human rights, criminal justice law, etc. in Dr.B.R.Ambedkar College of Law student should have to meet some criterias like:1. Student should complete 3 year/ 5 year LL.B exams.2. Student should have scored above 55% in the qualifying LL.B exam.3. On the basis of 2024 ranking NEF law college is in the list of top private law colleges in India. It has the best faculty and good infrastructure as well and on the other hand JB law college is also a well reputed NAAC accredited college. Fees is also quite low and has 60% placement, good in campus, infrastructure and faculty. Overall both colleges are good and the better. It depends on your needs and aspirations.

The postgraduate LLM programme at NALSAR University of Law (NLU Hyderabad) lasts one year. 66 spots are available for NALSAR's LLM program. Through the CLAT, 50 students are admitted, with an additional 10 slots reserved for international students. Women applicants are eligible for a 30% (32 seats) horizontal reservation through NALSAR. One will have to clear CLAT PG for admission into this programme by this university.

In order to be admitted to NALSAR University of Law's Master of Laws (LLM) program, applicants must have earned at least 50% of their LLB or its equivalent. SC/ST candidates need to receive a minimum of 45% in their scores. Candidates need to pass the CLAT PG test in order to be accepted into the LLM program. There are three required subjects, six electives, and a dissertation in the one-year curriculum.

Coming to this mostly non- NLU or lower NLU students prefer doing LLM from top tier NLUs in order to get NLU tag. But that isn't of great help unless you are going into the teaching line. Same goes for NALSAR where after taking the LLM degree you won't get any ostentatious placement. Rather working for a tier 2 or tier 3 law firm initially then moving onto a tier 1 law firm would pay off in a much better way.

The requirements to be eligible for an LLM at NALSAR Hyderabad are as follows:LL.B. degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% of marks or its equivalent grade for candidates from General, OBC, and PWD categories, and 45% of marks or its equivalent grade for candidates from SC/ST and other categories.There is no maximum age limit to take the CLAT.
