Hello Chandrashekhar
Generally universities offering LL. M. course conduct an Entrance Test for admission to the programme. The application forms for this course are available in the month of April-May every year. The entrance test paper contains around 150 questions which can be both objective and subjective in nature. The duration of the exam is 2 hours which includes negative marking for objective type questions. The marks deducted are usually 1/4th of the marks allocated to the question. The marking scheme is not fixed for all the universities, it may vary accordingly. Thank you.

No, there is no integrated course. You have to do LL.B. First and then only LL. M.

ABHISHEK K If you do not go to the end, why to start?

For anything else, like litigation or joining a corporate firm, etc. , it is advisable to start as early as possible as the field of law is very pragmatic and dynamic and practical exposure is the most important factor when it comes to growth. However, if your interest lies in teaching, policy making, etc. , you can opt for higher studies. Online LL. M. is very different from a classroom course in LL. M. While the former does add to your CV, the practical aspects, the discussions and the research form an integral part of the latter, hence making it a well-rounded experience. The choice between the two is essentially a question of where

Dr. Ambedkar Law University are both reputed colleges and provide good placement opportunities to their students. GGSIU is better than Dr. Ambedkar Law University but if a preference has to be made, one should consider other factors to decide other than placements. Other factors may include location, fee etc. One need to give weightage to this fact that one college is in the northern part whereas the other one is in the south. External environment affects the performance of students. Make a wise decision by selecting the college which is more suitable and not just for the sake of getting better placements. This may sound clich but the

As per the website of Sardar Patel University, they offer LLB and LLB Special, but not LLM. Try for admission elsewhere like LPU, GNLU, Christ University, etc., which offer 1 year LLM degree which is very much valid in India. Their admission criteria is CLAT or their own test.
