Indian Law Institute LLM placement report for 2024 has been released. According to the placement statistics released by the NIRF for the year 2024, the median package for the LLM course stands at INR 5.4 LPA. Additionally, a total of 112 students were placed and 34 students opted for higher studies out of a total of 157 students during PG 1-year placements 2023.

Admission to the LLM programme at Indian Law Institute is done through a centralised allocation process. The allocation is strictly based on the performance in the entrance test. This includes the ILICAT, with 53 available seats. Candidates have to apply for ILICAT counselling, as seat allotments will be processed therein. The allocation of seats would comprise various categories, such as unreserved, SC, ST, and others. Admission is based on merit, and scoring well in ILICAT shall be required for the candidates to confirm their seats.

Once applicants are selected, they need to produce all relevant documents to proceed with the verification process. Yes, Indian Law Institute follows a semester pattern for the LLM programme. The programme has two semesters. It will take one academic year to complete. This means that students can finish their postgraduate studies in a period of twelve months. Every semester has several core and elective courses.
