LLB and LLM are two different law degrees, where LLB is an undergraduate degree and LLM is a postgraduate degree. LLM is an internationally recognised degree which can be pursued after completing a BA or LLB courses. It is not required to do LLM if you want to become a lawyer, but many lawyers and undergraduate students choose to pursue an LLM in order to specialise in a particular area of law such as Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Cyber Law, etc. Moreover, it is your personal choice if you want to study further and gain expertise then I would suggest you to go for LLM. The main requirement for an LLM course is a completed LLB degree with a minimum qualifying score (50 percentage or equivalent CGPA). Some universities may have additional requirements like entrance exams or work experience.

 You must have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks. Lucknow University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to the LLM program. The exact name of the exam might vary slightly year-on-year.Your performance in the LU-LLM ET will be a major factor in the selection process.A merit list will be prepared based on the entrance exam score, considering factors like reservation policies and regional quotas.

Fees structure for LLM at School of Legal Studies CMR University is a combination of a number of components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, medical insurance, mess and other security deposits, etc. Out of all the fee components, there are a few components that are charged one-time by CMR University . Hwever, some are to be paid semester-wise or annually, such as the tuition fees. The CMR University fee amount further is different depending upon course or specialisation selected by the students. On an average total fees is around 10 Lakhs per annum.

Total tuition fees of the University is around 3 to 3.5 Lakhs per annum. Program fees of the University is around 7 Lakhs per annum.
