MBA in operations is more popular than MBA in Logistics. In Mumbai, NITIE is the best college for the same. SP Jain, KJ Somaiya & Shailesh Mehta(IIT-B) are some other well-known B-schools offering Operations specialisations.

Pursuing MBA will be the best option for you. MBA in IT and marketing would be beneficial for you as you have IT background. Also, if you have good marketing skills then do MBA in marketing because some IT companies will hire you as an associate manager in sales and marketing to sell their IT products like software or hardware.

Supply chain management (SCM) is the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they move in a process from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer. Supply chain management involves coordinating and integrating these flows both within and among companies. It is said that the ultimate goal of any effective supply chain management system is to reduce inventory.
