B.Com is a very good option for girls, I don't know about Loyola college, but I can talk about LPU, As per my knowledge being a faculty at LPU, LPU offers B.Com and B.Com (Hons) both the courses. Some of the Unique features of LPU in perspective to B.Com. (Hons. ). Programs are mentioned below just for reference what I able to fetch from recent announcement of LPU,
1. Professional/Industry certifications - Option to choose any 1 of the following:
Certified Management Accountant Institute of Management Accountants, USA or Accounting and Finance Professional - KPMG or ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK
2.1 course every semester (2-6 sem) to be taught online by foreign faculty/Industry experts
3. Industry visits - Financial Institution (Bank/ NBFC etc. ), Accounting firms (Big five PWC/Deloitte/KPMG/E&Y/get etc. ), some business event (Business Conclave, Conference, Trade fair etc. )
4. International Immersion - 4-5 days after 2nd year to Singapore/Dubai
5. Co-op/ Professional Experience/ Industry or Professional attachment or semester exchange - 2-6 months (after 4th semester)
6. Project - 1 project every year, 1st year Community project; 2nd year Research project 3rd Year Company based project
