As per my experience, CGPA is kept nominal by most of the companies as shortlisting criteria. I would like to say that the BCA programme at LPU is designed to develop skills for developing efficient and resource-optimized software/website/cloud/mobile applications. The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. LPU School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs, etc. are an integral part of the curriculum. BCA graduates have a good scope in jobs as a Web Developer, Web Designer, Network Administrator, System Manager, Computer Programmer, Software Developer, Software Tester, etc. Depending on the skills you acquire during your BCA. Various companies, organizations, and MNCs offer the above-mentioned jobs to BCA candidates. Provide an introduction to the fundamentals of Information Technology, Imparts knowledge on networks tools and techniques by understanding various existing wired and wireless networking models and protocols. The course includes Open Systems Interconnection communication model, local area networks, bridges, routers, and gateways, addressing, and local and remote procedures. Simulating the physical layer basics, network protocol algorithms, error handling, flow control, multihop routing network reliability, timing, advanced network protocols, and infrastructure, applications of high-performance networks. Computer architecture is a set of rules and methods that describe the functionality, organisation, and implementation imparting knowledge with a systematic way to create, retrieve, update and manage data. This course would examine the concepts and principles of DBMS, database design, data modeling, database management, data & query optimization, and database implementation. Provides skill on the system software for creating and managing database learning and how programmers create, retrieve, update and manage data. It provides knowledge of relational database models, manipulating data with an interactive query language (SQL), and database programming. The highest salary offered was 19.25 LPA and the average package was 3.1 LPA

Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). The highest package availed is 21 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average of 5-12 LPA packages and the highest package was 21LPA. The students can join an internship by sitting in the placement drive organized by LPU or they can organize at their own end. The students can work in banks (Private or Public), the Pvt sector or Public Ltd. companies, etc. The students have done an internship in Companies like IDBI, FUTURE GENERAL INSURANCE Company, COHO, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Karvy stockbroking, Decathlon Sports Ltd; etc.

The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind.
