Yes, you should apply for the LPU NEST exam as it eligibility cum Scholarship Exam. LPU NEST is mandatory for most of the programmes to fulfill the eligibility and for a few programmes it is considered for the scholarship. Lovely professional University offers more than 200+ course and each course have its own eligibility criteria. For some courses LPU NEST is mandatory to appear. Where as for the others direct admission is available. However, you can still appear in LPU NEST for the scholarship purpose. Being LPU alumni, Let me guide you. In certain courses, LPU NEST is mandatory, like if you are seeking admission in B.Tech, MBA courses then LPU NEST is mandatory, without LPU NEST you are not eligible for admission, However in certain courses like B.A. BBA etc. LPU NEST is not mandatory, you can get admission based on your previous qualification.

In order to get admission in any of the B.Tech courses, you have to give LPU NEST exam. LPU NEST is mandatory to qualify. LPU is best known for its B.Tech course. As per the eligibility, Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. Being LPU alumni, I would recommend LPU for B.Tech courses. LPU is known for engineering courses. The minimum predicted cut-off for B.Sc. (Hons)Agriculture is 60%. English Physics Maths Biology forestry, and LPU NEST in 10+2.
