For the scholarship, you have to check your results. In that result, it will be mentioned that in which category of the scholarship your results are coming. And one more thing is that scholarship fully depends on the cutoffs that have been set by LPU according to the number of students appearing for the exam.

You need to apply for LPU NEST exams to take admission at LPU and the cut off for this exam varies year to year depending on students applying, seats availability etc. If you have qualifies JEE Mains with a minimum of 80 percentile then you will be exempted from giving LPU NEST however you can avail scholarship benefits through. Also you need an aggregate above 60 in 10 + 2 physics maths and English or respective subject.

LPU takes admission through NEST exam only but you can apply in different universities to get admission in this course. See this link:

If you are giving LPU NEST exam for engineering branch like mechanical, civil, electrical, etc. You need to give maths paper also. I think math will be compulsory as you are going to do engineering. Without basic of math, engineering is nearly not possible.

To get admission in LPU, you need to get minimum 40% in the test.
Pattern:- total number of questions :-70
English: - 30 question elementary level
Subject of your Domain of interest: - 40 questions
Each right answer to the question you will get +1 marks and there is no negative marking. Therefore, I would suggest you to answer and attempt the complete question paper.
For English you can go through parts of speech and other Basic English grammar like synonym omitting passage reading etc
Book: - Wren and Martin for English grammar
