MA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. GJUST offers MA in four specialisations at the PG level. Candidates who have passed graduation with at least 50% aggregate (pass marks for SC candidates of Haryana) can apply for GJUST MA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Additionally, candidates also need to qualify an entrance test conducted by GJUST for admission to MA course. GJUST Entrance Test comprises 100 questions of one mark each. It is a 1.5 hour test which will include multiple-choice questions.

Admission to this PG-level course is through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). For selection, candidates have to take the MGU CAT exam, which is conducted in-house. Based on the candidates' score in the entrance examination, a selection list is released by the university. Candidates who make it to the list become eligible for participation in the counselling round.
