Hello Vasudha,
Normally speaking, students are allowed to appear for entrance exam even if results of the qualifying exam is not announced. But the university has to wait for admission process till it declares results of the qualifying exam. If you are from different university then you may lose out if your university does not declare the results in time.

The university offers M.J. M. C. (Master of Journalism and mass communication) for 2 years and MS Communication and Media Studies, which is also for 2 years.
Eligibility criteria: All the candidates need to have a valid graduation degree in any disciple from a recognised university/institute.

Yes, you have to appear for the entrance exam for MA in Mass Comm and Journalism.
It will be conducted on June 18, 2018.
The application form is available from May 14 to June 7 in offline mode.

UGC NET is a national level entrance exam, which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. Through UGC NET candidates are selected for the Lectureship and for Junior Research Fellowship. GET more information for NET Exam from here - https://askhindi.com/question/what-is-ugc-net-exam/
As you have completed Masters in Sociology, you can appear in UGC NET 2018 Examination. I hope it helps.

The minimum eligibility to pursue this course is a Bachelors (Honors) in Mathematics or Bachelors degree with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised institution
some of the reputed university demand 50% in graduation (any course) but they conduct entrance for M.A. in maths.

Eligibility criteria for MA Geography is graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50%. So, you are eligible for the course.
