a) Programme require completion of Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent ( under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised university, in any discipline. B) At the time of applying candidates studying in 3 year degree programme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4 year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects for 1st to 6th semester. Hi Vijaykumar,
For getting admission in MA rural development in NOU eligibility is graduation in any stream. Mainly Social studies graduates are preferred.Graduation with at least 50% for general. 45% for Reserved category students. You need to clear entrance exam ination.

Hello Anil,
There are universities & universities. Some will give admission based on graduation in any subject with 45% or 50% marks. Some others require graduation in same subject. If you do not want to waste three years doing B.A. Then I suggest you should seek admission in a open university like IGNOU. You can download brochure cum application form, go through it and start process of M.A.

Master's degree in Mass Communication requires only a Bachelors in any stream.
If you belong to Arts, Commerce or Business Administration, that helps you in understanding the subjects, but the qualification is graduation.

Yes, you are eligible for MA in JNU, but you will have to score at least 45% marks in graduation and appear for entrance test of the university. Admission is based on the merit of the entrance test.

For doing MA in Manipur or for that matter in any subject, one needs to do graduation in same subject. It stands to reason that a student should have done graduation in a subject before doing post graduation.
