The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is that the student should have cleared their graduation from a recognised institute. Most of the institutes allow graduates of any stream to pursue this course, even engineeringand management. But there are some colleges which make it mandatory for the students to have completed graduation in philosophy or a related subject to study M.A. Philosophy. The students also need to have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation to study this course in India. Yes, you are eligible.

Admission Process for MA philosophy in NEHU:
Selection Process, the merit list shall be prepared based on the following:
50% marks assigned to the qualifying academic result
50% marks assigned to entrance test conducted by respective departments or any other statutory bodies.
