M.A Scope

The scope of International Relations is moving towards the peak of new age careers, and the field offers great opportunities in varied spheres of economy. IR is a good base for high-level administration, investigation and analysis work in a number of professions.
1. Civil Services - You can join the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), after clearing the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year.
2. Politics and government work as a diplomat, intelligence specialist or political analyst
Diplomat - A diplomat is a person who stays in touch with government officials of a foreign state, representing his nation and protecting it by collecting all information affecting his nation's interest.
Intelligence specialist - An intelligence specialist is responsible for collecting data and information for a mission, and working with the military, the navy, or any other government agency.
Political Analyst - A political analyst is a person generally recruited by the government for analysing public policies, identifying various political issues for research, and advising political leaders on foreign government policies.
3. Work with International organizations (such as UN agencies, EU departments, the World Health Organization and the World Economic Forum) as an IR specialists.
4. You can take the National Eligibility Test for junior research fellowship (JRF) and lectureship conducted by University grants commission (UGC). After cracking this exam, students are eligible for research roles and scholarships in a particular field, further securing a position for lectureship in leading colleges/universities.

The one with Master's degree in geography may be employed in the following areas:Travel JournalismTravel AgenciesManufacturing firmsReal EstateCommunication and TransportationResource Planner, GIS Analyst (Local Government )Conservation, Wild Life Management ( DoC)Environment (Ministry of Fisheries)Surveying (Trimble)Mining and Exploration Apart from these options, one can also work as forest managers, Demographers, Cartographer, Surveyor, Remote Sensing, etc.A qualified geographer may also join planning and development commission, intelligence department of central, state or local government. Indrayudh, I doubt you can have admission in MBA, for admission in MBA you need to be a graduate. Most institutions prefer 50% in graduation.
There are different ways of admission in MBA. Some institutes prefer CAT/XAT/ MAT scores only for admission to MBA course. And to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT etc student needs to have 50% in graduation. But eligibility criteria varies for various Management Institutes or Universities, they can take different %age in graduation along with CAT/ MAT/ XAT scores.
Another way of admission is internal tests or admission criteria of individual Management Institutes or Universities.
