Under the title ‘master’s degree of Primo Livello’, the study programme does not guarantee a direct entry to a third cycle degree a PhD in BSBI, as applicants are asked for a solid research proposal and usually five years of previous education in the first and second cycles.However coming to Doctorate courses, applications are based on their merit and each university and country has their own admissions criteria.
