There are two parts to the CPGET syllabus for MA in Theatre Arts. The first part of the syllabus will make for 40 marks of the test while the rest of the questions will be asked from the second part. Candidates seeking admission in MA Telugu, History, Culture & Tourism, Telugu, Jyothisham and Communication & Journalism have to pass PSTUCET conducted by the university. For all other MA specialisations, PSTU Hyderabad considers the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam for admission.

Candidates need to pass BA, BSc, BCom or any other UG degree from a recognised university to apply for PSTU Hyderabad MA course. Besides, aspirants must also pass PSTUCET for admission to MA specialisations accepting the score. Candidates must keep the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The tuition fee for MA at Osmania University and other CPGET participating institutes will vary from discipline to discipline and institute to institiute. For MA in Journalism and Mass Communication the tuition fee can be upto INR 35,000 a year. For MA in other disciplines like English, History, etc., the tuition fee can be anywhere between INR 15,000 to INR 25,000 per year.
