M.Arch

M Arch is a postgraduate degree in which the students learn about the designing, planning and construction of different types of infrastructure. It is a higher-level course wherein candidates can specialise in popular streams related to architecture such as Housing, Urban design, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Design, Sustainable Architecture etc. This course can be pursued after completing a B.Arch. This course can be pursued by candidates after clearing the M.Arch entrance examinations.Architects can perform the planning and design of various residential and commercial buildings professionally. While constructing a building, an architect’s design prospect is seriously considered by every infrastructure developer. Right from creating a blueprint to cost estimation of the infrastructure to be developed the consent of architects is required. M Arch and M Plan are master’s level courses in the field of Planning and Architecture. M.Arch admission to the Mohamed Sathak A.J. Academy of Architecture is done based on the counseling conducting by the Anna University. To appear for the counseling round candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria defined by the college. Academy of Architecture are B.Arch and M.Arch and for admission to any of the course, students are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by the college. For M.Arch, the candidate is required to have their graduation completed in B.Arch or any other equivalent course from a recognized university. Then, they can apply for counselling at Anna university. For B.Arch, the eligibility and selection criteria are different. The candidate should be class 12 pass with physics, chemistry and maths with a minimum percentage of 50% aggregate. Selection is based on the percentile scored in NATA.

The college accpets NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) to shortlist candidates for admission.
