Placements in architecture, though they exist still are pretty rare. So, mostly 'No'.
You need to apply directly to the firms that you want to work with and hope that you get an interview call and if everything goes well, you'll be able to grab the desired job.
Nowadays, most universities are having some form of placements, they are still in their infancy and hardly two or three companies will come looking for candidates. In most cases, these companies will be project management companies such as L&T or large scale developers such as Sobha builders.
As a fresher, it may not always be a good idea to join such large-scale offices because yo

Hello!
There is no comparison between the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and School of Planning and Architecture. My advise is that your first condition to choose the college is its 'Global Market Value'. Because in today's world you can not be in the profitable condition if you are doing your M.Arch course (or any course as well) from less a recognised or low market value college. This will also degrade your value. Now, the company wants that type of students for their planning and architecture projects who have a great exposure of the current scenario at the global level. This gives you more understanding and in-depth knowle

Based on student's reviews, Infrastructure and Faculty is good, but you will find a good, bad and average professors everywhere, so it's a mix I believe. Based on students ratings, Infrastructure is 7/10 and Faculty is 6.8/10, so that is not bad.
Below are some details about the college facilities and faculty members for your convenience:

In my opinion, there is no comparison. SRM being a private college is very expensive and provide all sorts of luxuries and amenities, it has been ranked as one of the best private college, whereas University Visvesarayya College of Engineering is a government college, hence it has a very reasonable fee, infrastructure is as per that. Education wise, both are good.
Below are the details about each college, read it decide as per your budget and interest:
University Visvesarayya College Of Engineering (UVCE): This is an old college, hence Infrastructure is old too, however, being a Government college, and the fee structure is very less comp

Hello,
If you are asking about the worthiness, then I would say 'yes', it is worthy. But, make sure about your future plans and strategy. The reason why I am saying that, is because the scope of both these course leads in same direction. In B.Tech Civil Engineering, you will learn about the Mathematics behind construction of infrastructure. The material strength, geography material mechanics and etc. Whereas, in M.Arch your study will revolves around designing and planning execution of the infrastructural projects.
