PhD and Doctoral Program in Education focuses on the theory and practice of learning and teaching, and related research, administrative and support services. The eligibility criteria for same differs for every institute. An M.Phil. degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognized institution of higher learning is the usual eligibility criteria at most of the universities.
