Hi Sanaya,
I think that you should get an MBA after your M.Com. So far you are pretty knowledgeable (or supposed to be, at least) on Accountancy, Accounting standard, and to some extent corporate finance. An MBA will teach you much more. MBA programme will enable you with theoretical, as well as practical knowledge. It will also groom for the corporate jobs. Hello Simran Thusoo. Choosing MBA or M.Com really depends on your interest pattern. But since you are into commerce, you can excel at MBA too. MBA gives a broad exposure to real-time business situations and makes you industry ready. If you are really looking for a corporate career, then you must definitely go for it. If you pick finance then the scope will be in BFSI sector on the other hand if you take HR as major then you can go into the admin and recruitment types of job. So, basically it depends on which track you want to SEE yourself after 2 years of course. All the best.
