Hi Mandeep,
First, you have to be sure if you completed M.Com in Finance or Marketing. Second, be sure of your career aspirations and you can specialize in an area of your choice. Courses from PG Diploma to MBA are available. You may opt to work for a year or so and know your interests and consider an MBA program.

If you get a good job, after M.Com, proceed with that.
Otherwise, do an MBA in a reputed college and get placed. If you think that's a time taking process, prepare and apply for bank related jobs.
All the best.

Eligibility criteria to seek admission in Ph.D degree in mathematics is minimum. B.Tech candidates from any engineering discipline are also eligible to seek admission in Ph.D.
You are not eligible for seeking admission in Ph.D in mathematics with B.Com or M.Com degrees. PG Diploma is not to M.Sc mathematics, therefore, after PG Diploma in mathematics, you will not be eligible for seeking admission in Ph.D.

No, the gap will not effect your studies. You can prepare for CS and then along with that, you may pursue M.Com.
