Eligibility for MD in General Medicine:
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed MBBS/BAMS with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, with 1-year compulsory internship. Also, a minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation. Often, candidates are required to qualify an institute, State or national-level entrance test for admission to the course.

Eligibility criteria for pursuing MD course is you need to have MBBS degree from recognised university. Yes, you can go for paediatrics. You need to appear NEET PG and secure a very good percentage.

Admission to a medical school and as an international application will be tough. You must take your MCAT and there are other pre-requisite course, you need to complete for admission purpose. Every university has its own admission requirement, hence, you should check the university website. Further, to practice medicine, you must take the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination (MCCEE).
