Some of the universities you may consider include Queen Margaret University - Edinburgh, University of Cambridge, City University London, University of Nottingham, Kingston University and Sheffield Hallam University. In India, MBBS is a primary degree and MD is awarded after MBBS. In many other countries abroad the primary degree is called MD which is considered equivalent to MBBS degree.

As an international student, you must get your medical qualifications verified by Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Electronic Portfolio of International Credentials (EPIC). Create an EPIC account and Australian Medical Council (AMC) account. To study medicine in Australia, you must clear two tests organized by AMC - MCQ and Clinical Examination. You will be eligible to take the AMC Clinical Examination only after you clear the MCQ. On successful completion of these tests, you will be issued the AMC certificate. The entire process is online.
