Manipal School of Architecture & Planning (MSAP) Manipal, is a constituent of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) an Institute of Eminence (IoE) accorded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. MSAP has been a pioneer in imparting Architecture Education for over 40 years. MSAP has a Department of Design established in 2012, having both UG and PG courses in Interior and Fashion design. MSAP has a strong Alumni network across the globe with alumni holding major positions in recognised corporates and many have earned names and fame through their Architectural Practice. At MSAP the students are trained and tuned to keep up with the changing trends of the Industry. Students are encouraged to participate in various national and International Architectural competitions during their course for enhancement of their knowledge and skills. The institute has a well-organized placement team led by a Placement Coordinator, Associate Coordinators, and student coordinators from each department. Placements at MSAP happen in two ways i.e. On-Campus and Off-Campus in which 200 firms across India and abroad recruit UG & PG students every year. 

Both NIFT Gandhinagar and NIFT Chennai are leading fashion education institutions in India and both offer Master of Design (M.Des) programs. While both institutions have strong industry ties and employment opportunities, the employment performance of the M.Des programs at NIFT Gandhinagar and NIFT Chennai may vary depending on various factors such as courses, industry demand, and market conditions. According to available information, NIFT Chennai has a better job placement record than NIFT Gandhinagar. However, it should be noted that job placement performance varies from year to year and depends on individual factors such as student skills, portfolio, and interview performance. Therefore, it is advisable to analyze the placement data and other relevant factors before making a decision.
