After earning an M.Des. In design from NIFT, you will have numerous job opportunities. Graduates of the Master of Design programme may find employment in any of the following fields, depending on their area of specialisation:
1. You can become a trend analyst at top fashion companies.
2. You can also get a job as a product developer.
3. You can go in Merchandising field in either Retail or Export
4. You can become a Design Evangelist or CSR executive
5. Other jobs you might find are those of senior fashion consultant, assistant sourcing manager, and marketing manager. There are many positions available for design graduates at top fashion companies such as Eskay Home Collections, Bata India Limited, Future Group, etc.

Visva Bharati University offers a two-year MDes programme spread over four semesters under three specialisations. Admission to MDes will be on the basis of marks obtained by students at their UG level. Relaxation is given to OBC, SC, ST & PWD candidates as per the norms set by the Government of India.
