Graduates who have completed this course can find lots of job opportunities in different fields of design industry. Designing is a growing industry in india with more people understanding their passion rather than blindly following medical and engineering. Students may choose course topics exploring different areas of design including interior, technical, fashion, interaction, visuals etc. BCA is a relative field to UI/UX, since your learnings on programming and software development would add value to your process as a designer.

Technically, you can do a Masters if you have Bachelors. But, when you apply for a Masters in fashion design the requirements are to submit a portfolio. These portfolios are really elaborate. For example 12 garments designed and sewn by you. Fit on a model with pictures taken, etc. Also, there might be a design challenge. So, if you have your portfolio you can surely apply for M.Des.

Dear Sababvat,
NIFT is the 2nd best in the country after NID. If you get through NIFT, there is no looking back. Do not get bothered so much about the rankings. Trust me, I have also done designing although long back. However, there is still so much demand for fresh graduates from NIFT and very well paid.
