Yes, you can do M.Des in Fashion Design from NIFT or NID, directly after BE. The basic courses in Masters remain same as in B.Des.

The eligibility criteria set by NIFT for shortlisting candidates for M.Des has a clause stating that the person should possess a Diploma in UG Design from NIFT or NID only. Dear Shivani, Greetings! There is a plethora of opportunities waiting to embrace a fashion designer. Some of the options include (as said by Vanshika, a make up artist), starting your own studio/ brand/ label, assisting a renowned designer and becoming a part of the team, working with a retail brand or an export house. I don't think so, totally depends on your aspirations and goals, but yes, it definitely, adds to your value as a designer. The most important fact needs to be; you to be a good designer first. Degrees can follow.
