Yes, you can apply for the M.Des after BCA one with any graduation degree can apply for the M.Des. You can pursue your M.Des degree at Anant National University, this university will help you to understand it's fundamentals and other knowledge regarding this course. Eligibility:
The candidate must be a graduate (10+2+3/4) or equivalent from a recognised institute/university.

You are eligible for the M.Des for this degree you no need to have a specialised degree in the same field, you can pursue it with any graduate degree. You can join Anant National University for this course, this university has great infrastructure and highly qualified faculty. Here are the details:

But no one can say about the gate cutoff for 2018. It will be same or will differ with 1-2 marks.
Most probably it will stay as same .
For choosing any course from particular IIT please ensure that IIT offers the course or not.
