hii, I am not very sure whether one should go for Masters od design from any of these colleges. VIT university, Vellore and MS. Ramaiah university of applied Science are very non design background colleges. You should do it from a place where its worth paying fees and can get to learn enough. If you want to do master's in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT (national institute of fashion technology ), NID (national institute of design), IIT - UCEED ( undergraduate common entrance examination for design ). These colleges are design specialised and will give you better career opportunities. these are all government colleges and comes under the top 50 design colleges all over the world. one can easily get an starting salary of three Lacs per annum atlest. I hope you will make a good decision.

The dedicated placement unit provides career support to all students. The placement unit helps the students not only in finding jobs but advises the students individually about resumes, portfolios, interviews and other job-search strategies.
The purpose of the placement unit is further served through our numerous links with cutting-edge businesses and organizations and strong linkages within the industry. ADYPU holds memberships of many different industry associations and is very actively involved with some of them.
The placement unit is not just about finding a job. It also helps students with acquiring the skills to manage one's career. The placement unit continually invites people from the industry to the campus and also arranges industry visits for the students.
The college supports any project or ideas adding to the academics. But the extra curricular activities are not that well-supported.Campus life would be hectic due to the tightly packed schedules of internals, labs, and various assignments, projects, etc. 7.5 CGPA cut-off for fee-waiver is another parameter determining student participation in various non-academic clubs and activities. For an ideal book-loving student, IIST would be the best option.

The shiny side is that, that the college not only works on the education or knowledge part but tries to build a different student as a whole by taking students to various fields trips which are worth visiting and not just that but by inviting expertise to take the lectures on various different topics!
