Selection of students for SKCT ME/MTech admissions is made based on scores in GATE/CEETA and other accepted exams. Students seeking admission must participate in the counselling process. Based on applications received, students are ranked as per their marks in accepted examinations.These ranks are further used to allocate ME/MTech seats. Moreover, other factors such as age, can be taken into account in case of a tie in rank position or when all the above-mentioned factors are exhausted.

The release date of the Maharashtra MTech 2025 application form will be in June 2025, tentatively. The release date of the Maharashtra MTech 2024 application form has not been officially announced yet. The Maharashtra MTech admission is based on the GATE score. The candidates must apply for MHT CET MTech counselling based with the GATE score.
