Pursing education from foreign in mechanical engineering is not easy as they are more advanced in the pace of curriculum. Along with class 12th marks you have to give TOEFL/IELTS exam and other entrance exam according to the colleges. But, anyways a percentage above 90 is beneficial.

Hi,
In order to be eligible for the M.A. Psychology candidate must have completed the Bachelor's degree programme in Psychology with a minimum of 55% marks in Psychology and 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Candidates who have completed the Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree (other subjects) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks are also eligible for the programme. An Entrance Test will be conducted followed by an interview for admission to this course.

No, you can't do M.Ed distance from here, because M.Ed in Karnataka University is a full time course.

Please follow the link given above to get details. Also, If she wants to do it through correspondence, it is not compulsory to do it from a college in up itself. Most of the famous distant learning colleges have their centres in almost all states which allows a student to give the exam from their city itself. I would suggest you go for IGNOU. It is the best university in India for distant learning education.
