The MEd Course is of two years duration divided into four semesters. It consists of various theoretical and practical papers which prepares a candidate to gather expertise in the field of education. Candidates who are pursuing MEd can also extend their duration of completion of the course, subject to unavailability during examinations or any administrative duties. Candidates can complete this course within a maximum period of 4 years.

Some of the MEd entrance exams are DUET, JUET, BHU PET, AMU Entrance Exam and Masters of Education Entrance Test. MEd entrance exam pattern is such that candidates are usually tested on three parameters - Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Language Proficiency. Candidates must prepare graduation-level BEd syllabus in order to score good marks in Teaching Aptitude.
