You need to have passed Bachelor degree course in computer applications BCA or any related fields. In case of merit based admission process, the candidate need to have secured a minimum aggregate marks as per the institutes requirement in last qualifying examination. In case of entrance exam, the candidate is must to clear the entrance exam and subsequent rounds such as GD and PI to secure admission in MCA course.

Eligible candidates need to appear for BHU Postgraduate Entrance Test (BHU PET) conducted by the university.
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have 50% marks or an equivalent grade in any of the following programs: B.Ed/ BA B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed/B.EI.Ed/ D.EI.Ed with an undergraduate/postgraduate degree (with 50% marks in each) or any equivalent grade.
