Candidate should possess B.Ed degree with at least 55% aggregate of marks.
Candidate should have two years teaching/professional experience after completion of B.Ed programme in a Government/Government recognised school/NCTE recognised teacher education/research institution in education.
Only working teachers are eligible for admission to M.Ed programme.

A candidate applying for M.Ed program at Alagappa University must have a B.Ed degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For reserved categories, i.e. BC/MBC/SC/ST, the minimum percentage required in B.Ed. is 50% marks. Candidates who are appearing in their final year/semester or are awaiting their final result are also eligible to apply.

As per today's demand in market, B.Ed is necessary course for both sectors government as well as private. After B.Ed, you can go for PG either MA or M.Ed. This will be beneficial for you. Good luck.
