The distance mode programme in the field of psychology is not recognized by all colleges, so you need to check their website. M.Phil in psychology is 1 year research oriented programme. You get license for rehabilitation Council in India. M.Phil clinical psychology is hospital based 2 year training programme. After completion of this course, you receive license from RCI.

No, it comes under School of Human Ecology and two MA courses are offered in that Centre:
(1) Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology)
(2) Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Counseling Psychology)

You can go for an MPhil (regular) after completing Masters from IGNOU. Every institution has its own criteria but since IGNOU being the recognized Open University, its degree is acceptable by almost all other regular institutions.
Recently, UGC has announced that candidates who score 55% in their Masters are eligible for MPhil from UGC recognized universities. So you need to focus on getting at-least 60% in Masters to be in the safe zone (Only if you are a general candidate).
