Hello Bhanu Priya, Yes, Shimla University does offer M.Phil. However one needs to pass an entrance exam to be eligible for the same besides some other criteria as may be prescribed from time to time. Best wishes.

PU provides distance courses but M.Phil is not provided through correspondence. It is done through regular mode.

From where do you wish to pursue Ph.D. Polymer? There are some institutes which are offering admission to candidates who have qualified national level entrance tests with excellent ranks. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests and even some institutes take students for the projects and then in the later stage they allow them to register for Ph.D.

It depends on the university and many other things, I really don't know, I did not clear the entrance in first go. The candidate must possess Masters degree from a recognised university with 55% marks in the relevant subject. The admission for the course is through entrance examination based on the aptitude test, subject knowledge and personal interview. Each University has its own admission test which can be looked upon the University's portal.
