Hi Praneeth,
If you are well informed about the admission process you may apply directly and there is no need of a consultant. Just go through university websites and try to understand the admission requirements, deadlines etc. If you feel you need help understanding those go for a counselling.

Hi Minakshi,
You cannot apply for the visa without getting an university's admission offer. So first you have to check the admission requirements of the universities and then apply. 6 band for a MS course is low, they usually prefer 6.5 with no section less than 6. But majority of the universities offer pathway programs in English. Also when you talk about gap you have to be specific with the nature of your gap, if you were working it won't be considered as a gap. You will get the visa if you fulfill all requirements and if your intention to study in Australia is clear and you have no plans of migrating there permanently.

Hi Raj,
Typically, more than 2 backlogs are not recommended. If you are planning for a high ranked then you won't be accepted with backlogs. Also this will completely depend on the university. There is no explicit mention of these things on university websites and these are confidential matters. Will vary from profile to profile as well.
