Dear Rishabh,
Recently, I have come across a brilliant opportunity which I heard through a close relative of mine. JK Lakshmipat University situated in Jaipur is offering a very interesting programme that gives you an excellent opportunity to do MS at JKLU for one year. It also comes with 3 years of OPT in STEM. There are a number of courses that you can choose from and also have a 50% scholarship. Most of all you don't have to give any competitive exam for doing MS in the US like TOEFL and GRE.

The Licensing procedures in the non English speaking countries are very difficult for an Indian applicant. They authority may ask you to demonstrate the skill and proficiency in the Foreign language depending on rules. As being an non EU citizen it is very difficult to get a residency spot but if you are so keen in entering training in Netherlands go ahead.

Yes, universities do take a close look at the number of backlogs. Most of the top good universities do not accept more than 6 (or 8) backlogs. For top universities, it would be max 2. Secondly, they would also look at the CGPA in the last 2 years (4 semesters). If you did score well in those two years, the number of backlogs in the 1st/2nd year will get leveraged up to certain extent.

The GRE is a measurement tool, not a performance. Taking a GRE subject exam that you don't need Mike to communicate the wrong things to an application review committee. It might appear that you would prefer to study the area covered by your subject exam. It might look like you are trying to gain entry on the basis of the ability to test well, without the ability to perform well academically. If possible, it would be much better to demonstrate academic prowess by taking some courses as a postbacc. Failing that, it should be obvious which GRE subject exam you should take: chemistry for chemical engineering, or physics for electrical engi
