As a resident of this area, I won't suggest you to opt for this college, and for this course it is not, as this college is only for the charging fees and giving you a degree of no use and the placements of this college is only good for IT branch in B.Tech only and for all other courses this college is of no means.

M.Sc. In microbiology has better option and future opportunities in terms of future perspective. Also this is a field in India which has not been discovered too much so the fressness is also there. All the best.

Yes, they are right if you see through Carter scope and overall studies than microbiology is good option but at the end you have to see whether which course is good for you and what are you interests. All the best.
