B.Tech-M.Tech requires 6 years while B.Sc and M.Sc. Biotechnology required 5 years. To join B.Tech, you have to clear the JEE Mains exam while there is no entrance exam for B.Sc Biotechnology.

Since you are asking this question to us to give our preference, first of all I will say that you must check the job availability in both the courses, then think of taking the course. But, for me, I will say that it will be better to take Industrial Microbiology, because you know day by day technology is developing and, thus there will be high requirement of researchers based on industrial microbiology, though both the fields are based on research studies and they generally give emphasis on that only. So, there is a need of microbiologists in almost every nation. I don't think it will harm you, if you pursue M.Sc. programme in Industr

Hello Shubhra,
Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam. As you have done M.Sc in biotechnology, you can appear for CSIR NET Chemical Sciences or Life Sciences. If you want to go for JRF exam, then make sure that your age is not more than 28 years and you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks. Or if you want to apply for the position of an assistant professor, you can apply anytime as there is no upper age limit. But you have to fulfil the educational requirement.

After B.Sc Biotech, M.Sc in Agri is good because many private companies give you jobs in sales and marketing. Also, if you work in the government sector, you can get the job but you need to prepare for the same.
Some of the top universities for M.Sc Agri are PAU, Ludhiana, Lovely Professional University Punjab, Govind Ballabh Pant University, Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

Hi,
If we talk about M.Sc. Agriculture, first, you need to check if the university is accepting Biotech or not. Then talking about career with M.Sc. Agriculture and Ph.D., later on, you have a bright career in government and private universities as well as companies. But with Just M.Sc., you will get mostly sales profile jobs. For M.Sc. biotech, if you take admission in top universities like Lovely Professional University Punjab and Amity University Noida, then your placement prospects are good, otherwise, in the private sector, it will be difficult.
