Passing the entrance exam and having minimum 60 marks in biotechnology is enough to get admission in CU Rajasthan.

Hi Jinu, yes the country has some of the biggest biotech companies . Check out other countries too where post study opportunities are good, that said USA, Denmark, Australia, France, Switzerland and Germany are among the top ones. Check NUI Galway in Ireland.

Eligibility for M.Sc. Biotechnology:
Duration: 2 years
Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
Qualification: Candidates must have cleared Bachelor's degree in any Life Science subject from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Admissions:
General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2017.

Bachelor's degree under the 10+2+3 pattern of education in Physical sciences, Biological sciences, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with minimum 55% marks.

Biotechnology is a subject having combination of technology and biology. There are lots of colleges which offer admission to pursue for post-graduation in biotechnology.
But IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) is the best for the aspirants to complete their masters.
Candidates can get admission in IITs through one of the well-known entrance examination i.e. IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.).
Courses offered through JAM are M.Sc, Joint M.Sc. Ph.D., M.Sc. Ph.D. Dual Degree, Integrated Ph.D. and other post-bachelor programmes.
JAM Exam is for consolidating Science as a career option for the extra ordinary students.
