Taking into consideration the current scenario biotech is the upconing field with lots of scope and good job opportunities. If you take botany you can go for taxonomy, fungal associations as your subjext in Ph.D. whereas after biotech you can go for microbiology, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology etc. Ph.D. abroad is also a good choice but you need to work very hard as their it's all about practical.
