There are many jobs available for Chemistry students in different government sector companies.
To apply for a job, you need to fulfill the criteria and qualify the exam conducted by the different government authorities. Unfortunately, no one can tell you how a job could be, you have to experience it for yourself.
1) Central Government Jobs :
Several exams are conducted by various government agencies for filling various posts available in Central Government sector.
- You can apply for the Scientific Assistant post in the labs of Defense Research Development and Organization (DRDO), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)

1) B.Sc. degree after 10+2 with majors/honors in chemistry.
2) B.Sc. (General/Pass) with chemistry as one of the main subjects.
3) At least 50% marks at under-graduate level for general candidates and 455 marks for SC/ST candidates.
4) Candidates may also be required to clear an entrance test like the IIT JAM to qualify for the IITs or NITs.
