Eligibility for MSc in nutrition and dietetics is candidate have to complete his/her bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics, food science, home science, or microbiology, biology any of these with at least 50%.

Candidate must be a graduate in relevant stream from a recognized university. Selection is done on the basis of merit and entrance examination score on ratio of 50:50 for students of SPPU. For other universities students, candidates will be selected purely on the basis of entrance examination.
