Solve previous year Q paper.
There are different M.Sc Entrance exams like, IIT, JAM, TIFR, GS, Pune University exam etc., which you can apply.

Know the updated syllabus, marking, paper pattern etc. Start with the books of class 11th and class 12th NCERT, this will help you with basic concepts and understanding. A reference book called "Intro. To psychology" by Robert Baron is a must. It covers basics as well covers all aspects of psychology. Some of the topics which are covered in Psychology entrance exam are:

For Ph.D. M.Sc. /M. S. in Physics, or equivalent, on completion of Programs (s) of duration not less than 5 years in total
For I-PhD: M.E. / M.Tech. / B.Sc. / B. S. / B.E. / B.Tech. /B. Chem. In Physics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree, on completion of programme (s) of duration not less than 3 years in total; any other degree in Science/Engineering/Medicine, or equivalent, on completion of programme (s) of duration not less than 3 years in total.
