There is no course of M.Sc Home Science offered by Swami Vivekananda Subharti University. But, you can do M.Sc in Dietetics and Food Management. The course is for 2 years and maximum time period is till 5 years.

M.Sc graduates in Home Science can work as the research assistant in the University of Calcutta with a good salary package. They can also work as Assistant Professor in various universities/colleges which offer courses in Home Science. Salary offered for Assistant Professors in these institutes will be in the range of Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- per month.

Qualification for admission into PG Program:
B.H.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science) of 4 years duration.
Qualifying entrance exam for admission into M.Sc programs is conducted by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University on its own. The entrance examination consists of different sections, aiming to test the aptitude of the candidate in regard to knowledge of the subject, as well as general knowledge and current affairs.
