Try for Biological Sciences, in IITs, NITs and TIFR and IISc, Most of them take, JAM but you can The CSIR and JRF and UGC.

No Institute will give you a seat without exam, except some private college, but they will charge donations, don't go for JAM but try IISERs direct exams, they and TIFRs they are given by less number of people.

Best options are those which you can get after your Ph.D, as you'll be going to research Field for no doubts. Although, an IIT or IISc degree in Biological Sciences with Computational Background will come in handy for a big package.

As per my experience, I would suggest M.Sc in Microbiology because it has a vast scope of anyone is really interested to do something in his or her life. Microbiology is an important field in the areas of pharmaceutical companies as u can work in QC and QA Department. Microbiology is a seperate department in each and every company. Next, u can work in hospitals in the pathology department, other u can teach in schools and colleges as teachers and professors respectively.
